Early swim lessons play a crucial role in enhancing motor skills in young children. The water provides a unique opportunity for children to engage their muscles and refine their motor skills.
Drowning is the leading cause of accidental death in children ages 1-4. By providing them with the skills and confidence to respond to an accidental fall in the water, these lessons set the stage for a lifetime of safe, happy swimming!
Swimming is a great way to enhance cognitive skills like problem-solving, memory, and spatial awareness by promoting coordination, balance, and concentration.

Many of us are familiar with traditional swim programs. They are based on guided exploration, and tend to focus on learning to feel confident and comfortable in the water before establishing any sort of real competence. Often, children will be in these lessons for months or years before they’re fully independent in the water.
This can be dangerous. With drowning as the leading cause of death for children ages 1-4, our children don’t have time to wait months or years before becoming water-safe.
Infant Aquatics® lessons focus on safety from the very first lesson. Using specific techniques and a time-tested curriculum, these lessons take your child from beginner to swimmer in weeks. Infants and children will learn independent self-rescue skills that allow them to respond to an unexpected event in the water.
Once your child masters these essential skills, they can continue lessons and learn how to utilize them during play and stroke development classes!
Many people think they’re “fine” if they don’t have a backyard pool.
Water is all around us though!
From ponds to hotels, beaches, friends’ pools, to community rec centers, the chances of your child spending time around the water are very high.
And despite our best supervision, we can’t always have eyes on our children.
Drowning is fast, and it is silent.
While no one is drown-proof, these lessons buy you time when seconds matter most.
Our programs are all age-based, so it is easy to determine which program is best. We offer our Floater Program (8-15 months old) and Swim-Float-Swim (15 months-3 years old) programs.
We additionally offer stroke classes and maintenance classes for older children who can float independently in water. If you have any questions about our programs, please contact us at any time!
During our 6 week programs, it is important that your child is becoming comfortable with the water frequently, in small, safe experiences, limited to about 10 minutes each lesson. This lesson is one-on-one and is crafted to safely have your child comfortable learning in the water.
Yes! You will be beyond surprised by the progress you will see in your child in just a few short lessons, over a few weeks!
After completing both the Floater and Swim-Float-Swim programs, it is important to keep their swim skill up to maintain this important training.
For the kids who are a little older or more experienced, we offer stroke classes and maintenance classes.
